We're Shannon, RN, and Jimmy, parents to an imaginative 5 year old in North Carolina. Shannon's a nurse, Jimmy's a Security Engineer. Between the two of us, we barely have energy left for made-up stories at the end of the day.
Jimmy's security background shapes how we handle your child's data, which is to say we don't. No third-party tracking, no ads.
It started with Mr. Fuzzy Whiskers, our son's favorite snow leopard stuffed animal. He asked how they met, and Jimmy thought, what if we made that into a real story? So he did. Had it narrated, put it on our son's Yoto. He listened to it on repeat. Then he wanted more, with Lenny and Lucy (his other stuffed cats), and with real life lessons woven in.
The moment it really clicked: our son was struggling to memorize our phone number. We'd tried flashcards, songs, nothing worked. So we made a story where he went on a number adventure with his stuffed animals. After a few listens, he had it memorized. That's when we knew this needed to exist for other families too.
