To create your first story, start by adding character profiles for your children in the app. Include their name, age, and personality traits. Then choose a theme (Adventure, Bedtime, Educational, Fantasy), select your desired story length, and we'll create a unique story featuring your child as the main character.

To upload stories to Yoto, you'll need to connect your Yoto account first. A quick one-time setup.

Here's how it works:
When you tap "Connect Yoto," you'll be taken to Yoto's official login page where you sign in with your regular Yoto credentials. Yoto will ask if you want to allow our app to upload content to your library. Tap "Allow" and you're done.

Good to know:

• We never see or store your Yoto password. The connection uses Yoto's secure authorization system.
• Once connected, upload any story with a single tap.
• You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

Yoto requires apps to go through this approval process to protect your account, so only apps you've explicitly authorized can upload content to your player.

You have the ability to download the audio file onto your iOS device and use the audio story in any way you want.

We take a two step approach to make sure stories are safe. First, we have guardrails built in that keep all content child appropriate. Second, once a story is created, you can review and revise it before the audio is produced.

Any topic you can imagine. Does your child love space? Let StoriesForMe take them on a rocket ship adventure around the universe. Is your child having trouble adjusting to having a new sibling or trying to make friends at school? StoriesForMe can create stories with any theme or lessons you'd love your child to learn.

Due to copyright laws, StoriesForMe does not allow popular characters to be featured in the stories. You can make up your own favorite characters; your child's best friends and their favorite stuffed animals make excellent story characters.

Simply go into the details page of the story and hit 'Edit'. You can fix what you missed. If something is mispronounced, put the phonetic spelling in place of the name. For example 'BOWD-HEE' in place of Bodhi.

StoriesForMe is free to download on the App Store. Some advanced features may require an in-app purchase; the app discloses any cost before purchase. Stories you've created are yours to keep.

Stories are designed for children aged 3 to 10, with content tuned for early-listener attention spans and emotional development.

Stories require an internet connection to generate but play offline once downloaded.
