Who built it
StoriesForMe is built by Shannon, a registered nurse, and Jimmy, a security engineer. We're parents to a 5-year-old in North Carolina. Jimmy's day job is security engineering, which is why the app doesn't track your child, doesn't run ads, and stays COPPA compliant by design.
Our story
The app started with a real moment. Our son was struggling to memorize our phone number. Flashcards didn't work. Songs didn't work.
A personalized story did, one where he was the hero and the phone number was the magic spell.
We built StoriesForMe so other parents could have the same kind of moment whenever they need it.
